SEG is the federation for the electrical wholesalers in Sweden. SEG has seven members with a total turnover of 2 700 M€ (2006). T
hey have altogether 6 600 employees at more than 300 sites in Sweden.
The most important issue of SEG is to maintain and develop the product database, E-number registry.
The database contains more than 450 000 products.

El-Kretsen
El-Kretsen offers a nationwide recycling system for discarded electrical and electronic products with approximately 950 collection facilities. The system covers all product groups affected by the legislation and provides good service to all returnees of discarded products.

REPA - a simple way to resolve your company's responsibilities
as a producer
According to the law "Ordinance of Producers' responsibilities for packaging" all companies that produce, import or sell packaged goods are subject to a number of obligations. To make it easier for all companies affected by this law, Sweden's business and industrial sector has joined forces to create a common system for the collection and recycling of packaging. A service organization, REPA, has also been established.
